Ancient Egyptian women had rights that many modern women are still fighting for today. 4000 years ago in Egypt, a woman could own land, manage property, and build wealth entirely in her own name. No husband required. She could run a business, negotiate contracts, and keep every profit she earned. Completely separate from any man. And if she wanted to leave her marriage? She left. Took her assets. Walked away free. The law did not trap her. It protected her. While Greece kept women hidden indoors
